The reason I am so pro-US is very simple.
The alternative to America is Chinese hegemony over Australia and they would just kill me.

There is no such thing as the "rule of law". Laws are written, interpreted, and enforced by men. The law is whatever the ruling powers that be say it is.
Right now, the presumption is that the powers that be will declare the law says that anyone from the Third World can enter this country illegally, have a child, and that anchor baby will be considered "just as American" as someone whose ancestors can be traced back to the Mayflower.
But you are delusional if you think that state of affairs will last forever, with or without a Constitutional amendment.
Either birthright citizenship will be abolished one way or another, or the country to which that citizenship is conferred will eventually cease to exist.
