@VegMediaWatch @WSJ @WSJ try googling and you will see a lot of disturbing facts about industrialized meat production you have left out of your articles! Why? The essence of all evil is that some suffering doesn't count! But, it does. This is just irresponsible journalism and intellectual laziness!

In story after story, the @WSJ frames high prices as the biggest issue associated with the beef industry. This coverage routinely overlooks far more consequential issues, including environmental destruction, animal cruelty and human health. Why does the #WSJ omit these existential issues from its beef industry coverage? cc: @PatThomas1318 @wadeNYC @Ajawmoore

A thoughtful article in the @spectator is undermined by a derisive headline and subhead that misrepresent the intent of the story -- to inform readers that the #dairy industry relies on practices that cause significant animal suffering. @michaelgove - Given that many people do not read beyond the headline, why not select one that fits the @allthatchas story? Note: Many cheeses made with cashew milk, oat milk and other #plantbased milks are delicious and indistinguishable from cheese made with #dairy milk. That is why consumers in the U.S. alone spend approximately one billion dollars on them each year.

HORRIBLE: These pigs can literally only talk a step forward and backward in a tiny metal cage. That is their life. This is #pork. 😡

The Ridglan dogs are going free. But our freedom is still at stake. Four of us are facing felony charges for rescuing beagles before they were released to adoption groups this week. The district attorney says I stole “property.” But does she look like property to you? Thousands of dogs like her are still trapped in labs across the country. We’ll fight for them all at trial — and force courts to ask whether animals are “something,” or “someone.” And we’ll need your help to win. Sign up to help save dogs like her at savethedogs.io.

The French newspaper @ladepechedumidi published a snarky article criticizing the effort of #AnimalRights activists to ban the sale of #foiegras in Portland, Oregon. The headline sets the tone: "The City that Legalized Crack Wants to Ban Foie Gras." @ladepeche_32 refers to foie gras as a "guilty pleasure" but doesn't include a description of force-feeding, one of several reasons why consumers should feel guilty about eating this fatty duck liver product. Also, by reporting that consumers will be "deprived" of foie gras, #LaDepeche is framing consumers, not the tortured animals, as the victims. cc: @LLaparade @NicoMosco @C_Rauzy

Despite the fact that animal agriculture emits more greenhouse gases than all forms of transportation combined, #climatechange organizations largely overlook this environmentally destructive industry. Thank you @EarthDotCom and @GajbhiyeSa79924 for reporting that each of us can cut our food-related emissions in half by switching to a #vegan diet.
