(Belated) Congratulations to Sean on passing his viva on Friday! An excellent and insightful researcher @EPSRC_CDT_React @impchemistry and also great lab colleague. His work with us and Chris Braddock has been pivotal in so much of our work on catalysis using recovered metals.

Students never believe it when I tell them that PhD vivas often turn in to stimulating and (dare I say it) enjoyable discussions, but Rian was happy to confirm that this was indeed the case, thanks to @GroupThomas and @Britovsek_Group!

Really nice article on our work by @h_dunning. We used SIM cards but you can also use printed circuit boards, printer cartridges etc. to make catalytically-active gold complexes thanks to the technique pioneered by our collaborator Angela Serpe @univca!
