I remember in 2016 receiving emails from university presidents saying that campuses would remain safe, vibrant spaces where diversity was respected and undocumented students would be protected. I have received no such email which suggests to me a real normalization of this.

These abortion measures doing well means a lot of white women went in there voting to save themselves and no one else.

I went to bed and woke up to this. The only way out of this is to deal with the anti-Blackness, misogyny, and love of violence in this nation. In the meantime, donate to your local abortion fund and show up for your loved ones who have abortions.

and now the only thing to do is to entangle ourselves so deeply in community to keep each other safe. this is the part where we do it (all of it, resourcing, caregiving, protecting) for each other.

When we wake up tomorrow, there will be abortions that need funded, no matter where you live. A collective of folks who send a dollar or two to a local abortion fund *will* make the difference.
