@BurnettRM @FHGPaulLaPorte the song is “I’m The X” not Ex… in the subtitles do the double meaning Ex for X thing once, but the point of those lyrics is using a math pun to express his realization that his embrace of his human side didn’t solve the equation of who he really is. Honestly very Spock.

@FHGPaulLaPorte The point here is WHAT he sang. I didn't meant I literally expected him to sing Pearl Jam. The point was...if he is singing about his feelings, I think he'd have used better lyrics than "I'm the EX...," (which, frankly, doesn't make any sense).

Spock singing about his pain over Chapel leaving him might just be the worst bastardization of a character in pop culture history. "I know someday you'll have a beautiful life, I know you'll be a star in somebody else's sky," I might have bought...but, "I'm the EX?!?" Oh FFS.

Serious question/looking for recs. Is there a brand of headphones where the ear padding doesn't get messed up after fairly minimal use? These are Bose and I've used them as my primary headphones for probably less than 6 months.
