$BLOX 1000
Hit my share count goal 1000/1000
Pretty excited. This fund will pay me around $100 a week…
A good start to my 7 year retirement plan.
Thank you all for the encouragement and advice. What now? 2000?

@CpoFrog@GuyTalksFinance Agreed! The weather in SD is incredible! We miss it but we also grew tired of other elements of California after having been there 25+ years. It was time to move on and experience something different. :-)
@JWin34212@GuyTalksFinance I've lived in San Diego, and now on the Gulf Coast. Both are paradise tbh.
Dade/Broward/West Palm can be decent but nothing like SD or Penscola. The weather in SD is so perfect you forget weather exists.
Florida seems like the best place to live in the entire country.
> great weather
> low taxes
> affordable housing
> walkable communities
Strongly considering a moving here from NY
@Jetson_Dad I pushed my position up to 2000 shares earlier this past week. I wish I had bought another 500-1000 on Friday to meet the Ex-Div date for this payout!
Hear is my Top 5 Leaderboard and my share count and goals.
$BLOX 990/1000
$TSII 600/600
$PLTW 226/250
$USOY 333/350
$NVII 65/100
Soon I will list my next set of 5.
Current dividends monthly from entire portfolio is roughly $1500…
My 3 year goal is to increase that to 5K.
Income investing changes life’s.
My best friend that's been there for 70% of my stories since high school died of a heart attack yesterday. Friday 9:23am is when he would call and say "going to the Keys" and I'd say yeah. We'd bs about our families, bitch about the 826 and talk about building a project 4x4
@Jetson_Dad@DavidANicholas@XFunds_ Thanks! Just waiting for those "liquidity events" to hit. Several more property sales. Intending to harvest that equity and roll into my brokerage account. :-)
@Jetson_Dad@DavidANicholas@XFunds_ Roughly 15,000. Planning to allocate future "liquidity events" (expected in the next 3-6 months) across a blended set of ETFs including BLOX. BLOX would represent about 20% of my current plan. We'll see!
@JP5671204772902@FOXLA Yup. When we moved from CA to FL in 2021, I flew to Phoenix to rent a Penske truck and drove it back to SoCal to fill it up. Saved at least $4000, even accounting for the airfare, extra gas, and my time.
California residents pay about 11% more for groceries, 40% more for gas and 61% more for utilities than the national average, according to the report. foxla.com/news/californi…
@DarkMiner That works too. But, if you already have that chunk in the market compounding, you potentially get more growth out of it than starting small again. But, too each his own. :-)
I know the investors here will flame me for this but I decided to sell some stocks & payoff my only car loan.
I can already feel the burden lifted. I realize it’s not a ton of money but a cool feeling.
Two cars paid in full, both with low mileage.
Throwing the challenge out there to my other fellow investors to kill off those loans!
@TopDividendETFs Yes. 7,500 shares at an average price of about $16.30. Been buying $BLOX since the beginning of the year and will continue to scale up a bit more.
