AI won’t replace software engineers, but it will expose the ones who never learned to think like engineers. Tools can speed you up, but if your thinking’s wrong, AI just gets you to the wrong place faster. Engineering still matters.


And “Functional Programming, Simplified” is #2, behind the #Scala reference book. I can live with that. :)




The platypus is possibly the weirdest animal: it's a mammal but lays eggs, it's duck-billed, beaver-tailed, otter-footed and venomous. It has electroreceptors for locating prey, eyes with double cones, no stomach, and 10 chromosomes. It's fluorescent and glows under UV light.





Starting to believe that the most destructive cognitive bias that affects very smart people is the love of counterintuitive truths. It drops the guardrail of common sense.
