I also love in Georgia, because I live here. Sometimes it DOES look like this even in ATL and Decatur. And in neighboring areas where there's data centers being built, there's construction runoff leaking into rivers and wells. Data centers don't use lots of water long term, but they do cause disruptions during construction.

freeway removal through Atlanta is largely impractical in the short term, but we should remove John Lewis Freedom Parkway and replacing it with a surface boulevard. JLFP is a relic of I-485 and is underutilized. removal would reconnect downtown w/ the old 4th ward

half the stuff I do at work anymore causes a fight with someone. They talk a lot about wanting things to improve and get better and move forward, but apparently they want that without actually changing anything. Every single proposed change causes an argument.

Jennifer Combs of Trinidad, TX was ARRESTED and charged with FELONY “false alarm” simply for posting on Facebook about residents getting hospitalized from bacteria filled drinking water.
The town’s pipes are from the 1950s, they issued a boil-water notice, and TCEQ is investigating.
Instead of fixing the toxic water, they threw her in jail for speaking out?!

I have a meta theory that widespread reading is a wild aberration and we should not be shocked it’s falling away. This is very diff vs other advances (antibiotics etc) that obviously are aberrations too
