Sony is the very definition of enshittification:
Expensive services.
Expensive consoles.

Sony PlayStation Network accounts are being stolen very easily right now, even with extra security like 2FA or a passkey. The problem is not stolen passwords or a big data leak, but attackers who call or chat with PlayStation Support and trick the team using just your public PlayStation username and one old payment detail, such as the last four digits of a card or an old order number. Once successful, they can change your email, turn off security, reset your password, and lock you out. This has happened to normal players and famous ones too Sony has known about this for months but has not fixed it yet. To protect your account: >hide your PlayStation username from social media bios and pictures >remove saved payment cards or use virtual cards with low limits >check your account often for new sign-ins

If you want to make money again without screwing over customers, get rid of paying for online to compete with PC, prioritize what made Sony unique again by moving the HQ back to Japan with letting Team Asobi do whatever they want like their predecessor, Japan Studios, stop focusing on insanely huge AAA budgets and live service games, and make a bunch of smaller, cheaper but high-quality titles like Astro Bot to fill in between the occasional AAA games. You’ll be swimming in money and gain customer loyalty again.

Dunking on the Mando movie for the sake of hating will affect other projects too. Starfighter will suffer, that Ben Solo movie you want so bad, the Rey movie, potential Andor spin-offs. None of the latter will see the light of day & you'll have no one to blame but yourselves.

If Star Wars does ever actually die, and we never get anymore, that doesn’t mean that will take away any of what we’ve gotten.
So if you are someone who feels Star Wars is dead, or it’s dead to you, maybe it’s time to move on. Enjoy the parts of it you love, or find love in something else.
I was there during times when it seriously looked like there would be no new Star Wars movies, and while I did want more, I was ok. I kept watching what we had, and enjoyed other things too.
Buuuuuuuuuut…….Star Wars isn’t going anywhere for a very long time. Let people enjoy it.

We obviously know a lot of sci-fi fans, some are superfans who collect and watch everything. Until recently that is.
It's shocking how many studios create new films and TV shows of classic franchises, and completely ignore the core audience, sometimes to the point of rubbing it in their face how much they don't care about them, calling them names, and only want new fans.
These attempts always fail, and the studio blames fans. Hopefully this pattern will subside and they will give fans what they actually want.

People who blindly defend any company are morons. Nintendo is my favorite company & they do stupid shit all the time: game key cards, terrible online, joycon drift, etc but people can't call out Sony or Microsoft. These companies don't care about us, call their BS what it is.
