We can announce that Gerhard Struber has been relieved of his duties as Bristol City Head Coach.
Roy Hodgson will take charge of the Men’s First Team until the end of the season, while the club will task the incoming Sporting Director with appointing a permanent Head Coach for the 2026/27 campaign.
The club’s recent performances have not met expectations and therefore Struber and Assistant Head Coach Bernd Eibler will leave with immediate effect.
📣 Anis Mehmeti has joined Ipswich Town for an undisclosed fee.
We wish him all the very best for the future and thank him for his contribution in a City shirt.
@BristolCity@TheExiledRobin@BCFC_Supporters someone has picked up my son’s shirt from tonight’s away end. Black with Harry 17 on the back. He passed away 4 months ago. Any help reuniting me with the top would mean the everything to us.
@BristolCity@fever_uk Fair play to Sinclair Armstrong. How he’s managed to convince people he’s a footballer is beyond me. Bloke is absolutely honking.
ℹ️ We can confirm Joe Williams has had a setback during his rehabilitation from his ankle injury.
The club have investigated and it has been concluded that the midfielder does not need further surgery.
However, Williams is likely to be out of action for around eight weeks.
ℹ️ We can confirm Cam Pring sustained an ankle ligament injury while training in Portugal.
The injury has been assessed here in Bristol and requires surgery, which Cam will have this week.
We expect him to be out of action for around 12 weeks.
Back stronger Cam! 💪
