Liberty has one of the best Mid Major prospects in the 2026 NBA Draft in 6’7 Senior Point Forward Zach Cleveland. Cleveland has been one of the most versatile players in the country this season averaging 11/8/7 along with 1.6 blocks and 1.4 steals a game. He’s also shooting 61% from the field. Cleveland’s mix of playmaking , athleticism, defense, and finishing at 6’7 gives him a unique mix of versatility and he uses that to his advantage on both ends. He’s shown the ability to guard the 1-5 at a high level this season and has been one of the best mid major defenders in the country on the defensive end, using his athleticism, instincts, and size to his advantage. On the offensive end Cleveland uses his elite passing vision to find his teammates with and without the ball, while also having the ability to be a creator at the rim or an off ball finishing 4.

When Coach Self was hired on at Kansas many moons ago, Coach Roberts was the first coach to reach out to me the day after Coach Self's press conference. I was invited up to the basketball office a few days later, and I've known Coach Roberts ever since. One thing about Coach Roberts, he always treated me so very fair and was always so very kind. When I would bring my son, Kemper, with me to a press conference or a game, Coach Roberts would always take time to say hello and extend a fist bump. He opened up a lot of recruiting doors for Kansas with his connections to the East Coast, and he was an amazing coach. He will be missed by many and won't be easily replaced. Congratulations, Coach Roberts. Thank you for always being so good to me. #kubball
