@MattGlassman312 It always blows my mind that the number of people who play basketball at the NBA level is roughly equivalent to the number of people elected to the House

People just can’t handle large numbers. Someone today equated being in the NBA with being in the top 1/100 of 1% of people at basketball, and I told them anyone who was only that good would absolutely be smoked by NBA-level talent and they really didn’t believe me.

I estimate I told 1000+ people in the mid-90s that the Height Act prohibited buildings taller than the Capitol Dome (the dome is 288', the Height Act limits buildings to the width of the right-of-way, or 130', whichever is shorter) 😂

@WashProbs Ran into Yoko Ono at the McDonalds in College Park in the mid 90s. We were doing a super late night food run and my friend whispered to me that he thinks the woman who just got in line behind us was her. I didn't think so, but when we left there was a big tour bus parked outside.

@theHillisHome @UnionStationDC_ @shakeshack I just walked by Andrew's ties and it is open. It does look closed but I think that's bc they keep the doors closed and there's rarely anyone in it.

Most of the @UnionStationDC_ stores have either closed or taken an extended break (such as @shakeshack, which is now back). Chances are they are gone permanently, but reached out to management and hopefully they’ll answer at some point
