It has been lovely to see the recent interest in our fantastic chalk Map of Australia which was carved into a #Wiltshire hillside by Australian soldiers during the #WW1. Here is a bit more info and background to the project which we are very proud of!

Fantastic day in an ASLAV turret, learning how to assemble and operate the M242 25mm Bushmaster chain gun. Superb instruction from a #LightHorse Cpl IG: best in the business. 34 degrees though, so brutal in the turret! Two words: feed trays. Like wrestling a slick pig in a sauna.

Our thoughts on the FCO-DFID merger.
Key concerns are:
1. Who is going to do long term thinking in U.K. government?
2. Who is going to do engagement with civil society in conflict affected countries?
