@LaNativePatriot @Jay2three Ah, yes, I remembered accurately that the Geo Metro is a Suzuki at heart. The Geo Tracker was also a Suzuki, IIRC. Not all Geos were Suzukis, though, as the Prizm was actually a rebadged Toyota Corolla...

One of my college housemates was (and still is) blind. She grew up dirt-poor in a very rural part of Virginia, and for much of her formative life only had NPR on the radio as a companion. She is a very intelligent woman, and a good student. Yep, she's a well-programmed Communist with a raging case of TDS.

@reddit_lies The only reason Helen Keller was ever promoted as inspo porn was because she was a straight-up Communist. Ask how I know.

I know a young couple who bought and installed IKEA cabinets in their first home. The end result was quite nice, and the cabinets have held up better than I expected they would. The infographic assembly instructions were the usual IKEA stuff - anyone who can do IKEA assembly can do IKEA kitchen assembly.

Coworker: I love making sourdough. I have more pictures of my bread than I do my kids. *lol A warm piece of my sourdough slathered with Country Crock & you'll be in heaven! What I'm thinking: You mean hell. You just ruined it with the margarine. What I say: Sounds amazing!

Be very skeptical of the medical-industrial complex when they routinely rubbish the power of natural supplements (because they are cheap and don’t require a prescription). Is there a natural supplement which has been life-changing for you? I’ll go first: VITAMIN D3 Growing up in the UK, I am convinced that I was very deficient in the winter, including as a teenager. I was quite late to the game taking the supplement, but it made an immediate difference to my life. Boosted my metabolic and immune health. And also my mood. I wish I’d started it sooner. Pro-tip: If you take D3, consider taking a supplement which also contains vitamin K2 (helps with absorption). Please share your experiences down below. I am at a complete loss why so many doctors completely rubbish the power of natural supplements for millions of people who experience benefits (I hear it almost every week from physicians)! Let any ignorant MDs hear LOUD and clear your experiences down below… 🙌🏽

I've been tinkering with dairy powder to try and come up with a carnivore pot pie crust and stumbled onto this... I'm calling it Carnivore Crumble Cornbread. It's crumbly like a dry biscuit but has a little sweetness to it like cornbread. The inside parts are a 7 but the edges are a 10. Best eaten with cold butter. I'll probably cut this into thin strips next time, like bread sticks or pretzels to get more crispy edges. 1/2 cup butter powder 1/2 cup fat free goat powder 1 egg Form and roll out until 1/2", cut and bake at 325 for 20 minutes, flipping half way. If you opt for thinner, lower your cook time. Full disclosure: there's about 30g carbs in this batch.

@J_reads_things @goneers @MiddleFingerMat Agreed. I’m ARP, and this wouldn’t happen. I’m guessing this was PCUSA, partly from the reference to presbytery sending interims (rather than the Session finding them).

Today is Palm Sunday so I got up and went to church. Our beloved pastor of over 20 years retired a few months ago, so we have fill-ins until we find a new pastor. Today’s preacher du jour treated us to a left-wing political lecture. I’m absolutely livid. Had I not been sitting on the front row I would’ve gotten up and walked out. Leave it to liberals to ruin the first day of holy week.

@MiddleFingerMat Presbyterian. I’ve been a member of the church of my whole life and it’s always been very conservative. These are fill-in preachers sent by the Presbyterian while we look for a new pastor.

When did everything being built just start going downhill dramatically? This is my kids' playground at our public park... it was built just TWO YEARS AGO. This is what it looks like today. Why did people stop caring about building things that last?
