@thegrimsbyway @GabSutton Without a doubt. The worst thing is that they think they are much better than they are. Being chased and pressed everywhere and still trying to play out of the back and getting caught out repeatedly. Not understanding where you're at is a huge issue in this league.

Pressed superbly today, better team by miles and should have been out of sight long before a nervy finale.
Sanders, Lunt and O’Reilly were excellent - latter gets my MOTM.
Crawley might need to simplify things slightly, for now, just to stabilise their season - whereas the Alex look well-placed to be in the mix once again.

Pre-Season is over and I think we've had a lot of positives to take away from it. Main focus for me though has been the amount of youngsters we've seen who've looked really quality. Intrigued as to how many appearances many of them make and how many people think they'll make...

I think this lad was last nights Trialist. Harvey Laidlaw from Havant & Waterlooville FC. 19 year old left back. 24/25 season he made 39 appearances, 3 goals & 9 assists.

That Cooney is a bit of a berk isn’t he. Infact I thought Crewe were a footballing side? Horrible team. I tell you what, I look forward to getting them to Meadow Lane. Only redeeming quality is Demetriou… imperious. I dont think there is a better defender at the level.

@Dazzzzzz86 I got a really good look at it. He's just reached to get a ball that went over him. No aggression at all, so I find it hard to pile on him. But I do however feel his substitution was probably fair enough, thinking his pace on the break would have caused them problems.

Might be in the minority here, but I thought Chris Long’s sending off was harsh. While his injury record annoys me, don’t understand the anger towards him for the red card. I thought it was an honest attempt for the ball, as it’s not like he’s a dirty player #CreweAlex
