I can already see some Somalis claiming that I'm trying to harm the Somali community. The guy in question was literally speaking Somali before posting this kind of content, and he was only following Somali people.
What's even more ridiculous is that he claims to belong to a certain ethnic group, only to turn around a few weeks later and say that this same ethnic group should be killed off or wiped out. He mocks the genocide in Sudan and everything associated with it
I'm not generalizing an entire community in any way. I simply want this guy's account to be taken down because, on top of appropriating an identity that isn't his, he's also using photos of people who never gave their consent in order to support his fake persona

Johnny Somali, who falsely attaches "Somali" to his name despite being Ethiopian 🇪🇹, has another Twitter account called @HabeshaCapital. If you Google what Habesha means, it tells you that Habesha peoples is an ethnic or pan-ethnic identifier that has been historically employed to refer to Semitic language-speaking and predominantly Orthodox Christian peoples found in the highlands of Ethiopia and Eritrea between Asmara and Addis Ababa, and this usage remains common today. This alone is proof that he is not Somali. Back in February 2023, he messaged the owner of the @JohnnySomali handle using his @HabeshaCapital account in order to try and buy the account from them. I assume the owner of the @JohnnySomali handle never responded to him or declined his offer, which is why he settled on the username @SomaliJohnny instead. On the @HabeshaCapital account, he made tweets about "taking over the content game" and posted a tweet with a link to one of his videos on YouTube. He was also tweeting/retweeting a lot of tweets about Ethiopia. Johnny Somali has admitted in the past that he can't speak Somali, and when people have questioned him about this further, he ignores them. One of the tweets he retweeted was a tweet from the PM of Ethiopia written in Amharic, which is one of the official languages in Ethiopia. Does that mean he can speak Amharic?
