SOU fixtures: • Derby (H) 🟢 • Blackburn (H) 🟢 • Swansea (A) 🟢 • Bristol (H) 🟢 • Ipswich (H) 🟢 • Preston (A) 🟢 Our big competition is Ipswich, who have a far more difficult set of fixtures - and Saints would need them to drop multiple points to stand any chance of catching them. Unfortunately, IPS also have a game in hand… IPS fixtures: • Norwich (A) 🔴 • Portsmouth (A)🟢 • Middlesborough (H)🤝 • Charlton (A)🟢 • West Brom (A)🤝 • Southampton (A) 🔴 • QPR (H)🟢 This would see Ipswich finish on 83 points - one below Southampton. Whilst the games against Portsmouth, Charlton and QPR seem like relatively straight-forward results, I think the other games are much more challenging. Ipswich have been great this season, but have continued to be defensively suspect at times. Additionally, it goes without saying that we should not discount Millwall or Middlesborough, however, both teams have also looked defensively suspect in recent weeks, and don’t have the easiest set of fixtures on paper.
