@scfcthomas Stamenic is fine and I have hope for Widell still. Only fair to give Walta a full pre-season before judging, just look at Vipotnik. Idah and Inoussa look very pricey for what we have got.

Why don’t the recruitment team get significantly more criticism? Adam Idah (£6m) Zeidane Inoussa (£5m) Melker Widell (£3m) Leo Walta (£3m) Marko Stamenić (£2m) We also made Cameron Burgess one of our highest earners. We’d have been better off withdrawing cash and burning it.

Has a transfer window ever aged worse than last summer? The only good signing was Ethan Galbraith. £20m+ spent and one quality player to show for it.

@SleepyInSA2 I did think this also, hopefully he'll continue his good form though. No doubt his salary will have dropped now too mind. Gives us more room to focus on improving the 11 rather than adding depth, so that has to be a good thing.

No offence to Fisher but he wouldn’t have had another contract if it was down to me. If he ever had to step up to the first team for whatever reason he’ll cost us points. He should’ve been released in the summer and a another back up keeper brought in to replace him

Probably a loan with an obligation to avoid breaching PSR. Wouldn't be surprised if Galbraith leaves in the summer and we are succession planning.

Swansea City still hoping to confirm the signing of Leo Walta from Sirius this evening. Likely to be on loan initially. Paperwork has been submitted. Swans also looked at a couple of young centre-back loan options today but nothing has materialised. Ricardo Santos staying put

@VitalSwansea Might sound silly, but it'll take him a while to get used to the grass pitches with his long range passing I think. Every highlight I see of him, he's spraying the ball forward and the ball is dead on the first bounce on those astro pitches. Won't have that luxury here.

Walta looks a real talent. Skilful and an excellent range of passing with good vision. Always a question mark around his very small physical size though jumping up from a Scandinavian league to the Championship.
