That's a shocking stoppage. Sounds like the open scoring was going to stiff Verhoeven anyway, but Usyk was second best most of those 11 rounds.

After reading 1/3 of the book here are a few obs:- 1/. Every new P.C. A.S. should read this book 2/. How did (do) we put up with these unjust practices (Labour …. really, you let us down) 3/. I hope this book will be extensively read in Wales but i fear it won’t. 4/. I’m angry

Hilariously, Southampton admitted spying on three clubs before playing them and their records in those games was: Won: 0 Draw: 2 Lose: 1 They didn't even gain anything meaningful from it and now it's cost them a place in the Premier League.

An Independent Disciplinary Commission has today expelled Southampton from the Sky Bet Championship Play-Offs after the Club admitted to multiple breaches of EFL Regulations related to the unauthorised filming of other Clubs’ training. In addition, the Club has received a four-point deduction that will be applied to the 2026/27 Championship table. The effect of today’s order is that Middlesbrough are reinstated into the 2026 Play-Offs and will proceed to the Play-Off Final against Hull City. I did not see this coming. But I'm glad to see such blatant cheating and unsportsmanlike behaviour receive a proper punishment, not just be swept under the carpet because it's convenient. Makes next season harder for us though....

Not seen if EFL have explained rationale but could argue they've been kicked out of playoffs as spied during the playoffs, whereas points deductions for regular season stuff. Doubt there's a regulation that quantifies punishments to change much tho
