While statistically, the Cowboys haven't let up any big performances to slot receivers, this is widely due to their run defense looking so poor. There is however one metric where have struggled vs the slot, that being YAC. On the season the Cowboys have allowed the 12th most YAC per game to opposing slot receivers (44). Robinson, who ran a 4.44 40 should find some success in space in this one. The Cowboys D-Line has been getting home to start the season. Through the first 3 weeks, they have a pressure rate of 40%, good for the 4th highest in the league. Daniel Jones loves to check down when facing pressure. On the season, when he has seen pressure his yards per attempt has dropped from 6.6 to just 4.4, the 9th lowest mark in the league. Wandale's ADOT on the season is currently sitting at just 4.4. DJ loves to utilize him in short-yardage situations, as well as when he's under pressure. Jones has the 6th lowest air yards per attempt when facing pressure this season (7.7), which bodes well for Wandale targets. The Cowboys run zone coverage at one of the highest rates in the league. Per PFF Robinson has been the most effective Giants receiver vs the coverage this season, posting a 72.3 grade. We are getting an edge by taking the RR line, as the Giants have used Robinson behind the line of scrimmage quite often over his career. In week 1 he caught a ball for 14 yards that was ruled a rush due to being behind Daniel Jones. Just some additional upside here. The Giants will almost certainly be playing from behind in this game. Two of their top DBs have already been ruled out, which should allow the Cowboys passing attack to thrive. A negative game script for Robinson is extremely beneficial and should only lead to more work in the receiving game. CHEFED W/@MailManLockz 🐐
