@codetocompound @MichaelARothman @DrJStrategy Yeah, CtC.. but, isn't that always the case with all things: messier than *perfectly* planned, esp viewed after the fact. also, so what. what would you do differently

@MichaelARothman @DrJStrategy Feels like a bit too much 4D chess tbh. Sure, pressure can force action, but this reads more like a narrative built after the fact than a perfectly planned strategy. Reality is usually messier than “he planned it all along.”

𝐓𝐑𝐔𝐌𝐏 𝐃𝐈𝐃𝐍’𝐓 𝐃𝐄𝐋𝐀𝐘 𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐈𝐓 𝐎𝐅 𝐇𝐎𝐑𝐌𝐔𝐙 𝐁𝐘 𝐀𝐂𝐂𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐓 — 𝐇𝐄 𝐃𝐄𝐋𝐀𝐘𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐓 𝐎𝐍 𝐏𝐔𝐑𝐏𝐎𝐒𝐄 James E. Thorne (@DrJStrategy) published a piece on X that has racked up 𝟐 𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰𝐬 in hours, and it deserves every one of them — because it explains the single most misunderstood element of Trump’s Iran strategy. The conventional criticism is that Trump is too slow to reopen Hormuz. The reality, Thorne argues, is that the delay 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐲. Trump is deliberately withholding the American security guarantee at the moment of maximum stress — not because he can’t clear the Strait, but because doing so too quickly would let Europe go back to sleep. For decades, Western allies built their economies and green energy mandates on a silent assumption: 𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐨𝐟𝐟 𝐇𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐮𝐳. They ran down their militaries, underfunded NATO — the U.S. carries 𝟔𝟐% 𝐨𝐟 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐎 𝐝𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 — and lectured Washington about multilateralism from the comfort of a security blanket they never paid for. Then Trump pulled the blanket. On March 15, he told the world that countries receiving oil through Hormuz should “take care of that passage” themselves. The initial response was exactly what Thorne’s thesis predicts: EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas declared “𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘯𝘰 𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘵𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘌𝘜 𝘵𝘰 𝘫𝘰𝘪𝘯 𝘛𝘳𝘶𝘮𝘱’𝘴 𝘏𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘶𝘻 𝘤𝘰𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯” and added “𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘌𝘶𝘳𝘰𝘱𝘦’𝘴 𝘸𝘢𝘳.” Japan, Australia, South Korea, and the UK all initially rejected the call. Then the pain arrived. Oil surged from $𝟕𝟎 𝐭𝐨 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 $𝟏𝟎𝟎 𝐚 𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐥. Tanker traffic through the Strait dropped 𝟕𝟎%. Over 𝟏𝟓𝟎 𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐬 anchored outside waiting for safe passage. European energy prices spiked. The “not our war” posture became economically untenable. Two weeks later — on April 2 — 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝟒𝟎 𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 launched a coalition to secure the Strait. The UK hosted the inaugural meeting. Europe didn’t just join — they’re now scrambling to lead, with British Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper chairing the talks. The very nations that said it wasn’t their problem are now volunteering ships. Thorne frames it in Hegelian terms: Trump “𝘪𝘴 𝘳𝘦𝘧𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘯 𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘺 𝘴𝘺𝘯𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘰 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘤𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘭𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘥𝘪𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘧𝘢𝘤𝘦.” The contradiction being that Europe’s energy systems, industrial bases, and geopolitical sermons 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐝-𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐧𝐞𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐫 𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭. The prize isn’t just reopening a chokepoint. It’s a reordered system where access to secure oil flows is 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐨𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 — not assumed as a right. A world where the United States sits at the center of the hydrocarbon chessboard. 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐬𝐚𝐢𝐝 𝐢𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐬𝐧’𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐰𝐚𝐫. 𝐓𝐰𝐨 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐬 𝐨𝐟 $𝟏𝟎𝟎 𝐨𝐢𝐥 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝.

This pathetic fucking sack of entitlement...James Fishback...actually believes the Florida governorship is his birthright. Picture it: a 27-year-old predator-type with the moral compass of a rabid hyena, allegedly sinking his teeth into a 17-year-old girl named Keinah Fort while playing the pious Christian conservative card for the cameras. When a Black man dares to confront him with the receipts in that raw video clip, Fishback doesn’t deflect with policy or principle. No. He reaches straight for the noose. Let that sink in. Not “you’re wrong,” not “this case was dismissed,” not even the standard politician’s oily pivot. Just pure, unfiltered venom from the amygdala of a man whose pathology screams narcissistic fragility wrapped in Southern-fried entitlement. This isn’t a gaffe; it’s a diagnostic window. Fishback’s psyche is a textbook cluster-B dumpster fire...grandiose self-delusion fused with zero impulse regulation and a racial subconscious that still thinks “lynched” is an acceptable retort to a Black interrogator in 2026. The man isn’t just tone-deaf; he’s pathologically tone-deaf, the kind of disordered ego that confuses personal grievance with divine mandate. He’s the archetype of the high-functioning sociopath who mistakes his Tucker Carlson cosplay for electability while the rest of us watch the mask slip and reveal the rotting id beneath. And now he wants to run Florida? The state that already survived one circus of a governor and demands competence, not this seething cocktail of arrested adolescence and veiled race-baiting. His “defense” is a dismissed cyberstalking filing...cute, as if legal technicalities erase the stench of statutory-adjacent predation and the school district that already severed ties with him over the 2022 mess. But watch the clip again: the agitation, the escalation, the feral snap. That’s not leadership under pressure; that’s a man whose entire identity is a brittle fortress of denial, ready to crumble the second anyone pokes the predator narrative. Psychology 101: when a narcissist’s supply line...in this case, the “Christian warrior” brand...is threatened, the rage response is inevitable. He didn’t just lose his cool...he exposed the void where empathy and judgment should live. Fishback will go nowhere. Not because the allegations alone sink him...though they should...but because this single, savage utterance is political cyanide in a state where optics matter and Black voters, suburban moms, and even the MAGA base aren’t signing up for a governor who casually drops lynching threats like it’s 1955. The man is a walking self-own, a cautionary tale of what happens when unchecked pathology collides with ambition. He’ll slink back to whatever grift-funded echo chamber spawned him, muttering about “deep state” smears while the real world laughs at the corpse of his campaign before it even draws its first real breath. Fuck this idiot. Florida deserves better than a would-be governor whose idea of debate is a noose. The man is finished with the cold finality his own words invited. 💀🗡️⚖️

I also want everyone to understand something else... If you put me on a list... Even a friendly list, I'll block you in 2.5 seconds. Don't do it. I block everyone who puts me on lists. If they are public you're getting blocked and I don't give a fuck how long I've followed you or visa versa. Lists are the primary way these motherfuckers are using to get our accounts suspended, and I don't want to have to sift through 157 nice lists to get to the 4 that are trying to mass report me. So don't fucking add me to them. People have been making what appear to be friendly lists to trick you into thinking they are OK when they are not. So again... You will be blocked without prejudice. And once your blocked that is it. And I don't give a fuck. I don't play nice with people who don't respect my directives. End of fucking story.

I built this chopper. From the ground up. From the engine torn apart sitting on a dining room table to welding the frame up. Ginger was her name. I loved that bike. But she was a killer. I used up two of my "cat lives" riding her. The last time I woke up with a brain injury that ended my flying career. My wife said I could just keep her in the living room like I used to when we were dating. A mistress sitting there, always taunting me to get back on. I knew I could never stop. And I sold her. Sometimes late at night I can still hear those open pipes. The feeling of the wind. There is no point to this story. Some of the best things in life have no point. No reason. No need to justify. I don't care what anyone posts, or explains in a podcast. If the Strait of Hormuz is not opened soon we will end up in a global recession. I've tried to simplify this in a chart for you without the finer nuances. See if you figure out WHAT THE FUCK IS THE PROBLEM.

From the perspective of an atheist who has watched the spectacle of self-anointed piety curdle into poison: two men who drape themselves in the robes of Christianity...Tucker Carlson and Joe Kent...yet spew a narrative so drenched in deceit and cowardice that it stains every decent believer who still clings to the faith they claim to champion. These are not shepherds guarding the flock; they are wolves who have learned the hymnbook by rote while sharpening their fangs on conspiracy and isolationist bile. From my godless vantage, I see the collateral damage with merciless clarity: they are not merely wrong; they are actively desecrating the last remnants of credibility that honest Christians still possess in a world already drowning in cynicism. Every time a genuine believer tries to speak of moral clarity or standing against apocalyptic evil...such as a theocratic regime racing toward nuclear Armageddon...these two hand their critics the perfect cudgel: “See? Even your own ‘Christians’ peddle Israel-did-it fever dreams.” Trump’s stance on Iran is not some sudden Zionist enchantment conjured in 2026. It is a thirty-year granite pillar, hewn long before he ever descended that escalator in 2015, let alone reclaimed the presidency. He has said it since the 1980s: Iran cannot be permitted a nuclear weapon. Period. Full stop. No lobby, no foreign capital, no whispered phone call from Tel Aviv could “force” a man whose entire public life has been a drumbeat of sovereign American will against that specific existential threat. To pretend otherwise is not analysis; it is psychological projection of the highest order...a pathology that reveals more about the projectors than the projected. Carlson and Kent suffer from the classic isolationist delusion complex: an almost erotic fixation on American non-engagement that mutates, under pressure, into the ancient scapegoat mechanism. Unable to reconcile Trump’s unyielding consistency with their own narrative of perpetual victimhood...“the lobby controls everything”...they manufacture a fiction of external coercion. This is not mere error; it is moral cowardice dressed as prudence. Bearing false witness not only against a president but against observable reality itself. Theologically, it is a grotesque inversion of the very scriptures they pretend to revere: the Ninth Commandment shattered like cheap glass, Proverbs 6:16-19 incarnate as they sow discord among brethren, and the warning of Matthew 7:15 fulfilled in real time...false prophets in sheep’s clothing who devour trust from within. They do not serve Christ; they serve a brittle ideology that collapses the moment it encounters a leader who refuses to kneel. And in doing so, they inflict psychic violence on the decent Christians who actually try to live the virtues these charlatans only cosplay: truth-telling, courage against tyranny, and the refusal to let evil regimes arm themselves with the means of apocalypse. Every Iranian nuclear centrifuge that Trump’s strikes delayed or destroyed is now reframed by these two as proof of foreign puppeteering. The blood of future victims they would have enabled? Irrelevant. The theological horror of a regime that hangs gays, stones women, and chants “Death to America” acquiring doomsday weapons? Beneath their notice. These men are reprehensible. Not in the casual sense of the word, but in its oldest, most lethal etymology: deserving of rebuke, of severance, of ritual exclusion from the table of serious discourse. They must be denounced...not with polite disagreement, but with the ferocious, public shunning their betrayal demands. Let every pulpit, every pew, every honest voice that still claims the name “Christian” rise and declare them what they are: apostates to truth, pathogens in the body politic, and walking advertisements for why atheism looks at organized religion and sometimes sighs in exhausted recognition. 🗡️💀⚖️🗡️
Loomer Unleashed@LoomerUnleashed

Tucker and Joe Kent are spreading the false claim that Israel forced President Trump to strike Iran. Their lies got so unhinged that they aired clips of Trump administration officials that were already proven to be taken out of context in order to argue that President Trump can’t think for himself. In reality, Trump has long said that Iran can’t have a nuclear weapon, and he ordered the strikes on that premise.

In my later years of undergraduate, I became curious about chiliastic theory, i.e. millennarian eschatology about how precisely the world would end according to prophesy. I probably read 40 books on the topic and then decided it's all ridiculous and doesn't matter, that orthodox faith doesn't dabble in this nonsense. I wondered why I wasted my time. And yet here we are.

OH LOOK THE FUCK AT THIS, AMERICA. These 357 gutless, power-drunk vermin in the House...just yesterday, March 4, 2026...voted 357-65 to bury Nancy Mace’s resolution demanding the public release...victims redacted...of every Ethics Committee report on congressional sexual misconduct and harassment. A bipartisan cancer: 175 Republicans and 182 Democrats, including the so-called “leaders” like Hakeem Jeffries and Elise Stefanik, slammed it right back into committee to die in the dark where it can never see sunlight. Mace...an actual survivor who’s made this her fight...forced the vote after fresh allegations against one of their own. And they chose the veil. Every single time. But wait...the same rotting cabal foams at the mouth, shrieking for every Epstein file, every flight log, every name, demanding Trump’s head on a pike. Newsflash, you performative parasites: the Epstein files are out. DOJ reviewed. Trump is clean. No credible wrongdoing. He cut Epstein loose decades ago, banned him from Mar-a-Lago, and the records show zero charges, zero victims tying him to the island hell. Yet you froth like rabid dogs because the projection is your only shield. This isn’t politics. This is pathology...pure, metastatic. Neurologically wired for self-preservation: the amygdala hijacks the prefrontal cortex the second exposure threatens the throne. These predators don’t process truth; they process threat. Their brains are hardwired for the same cover-up circuitry you see in every organized crime syndicate...omertà dressed in committee robes. Classic projection 101: accuse the outsider who’s actually clean to deflect from the den of wolves you’ve built. It’s the oldest criminal tell in the book...conspiracy to obstruct accountability on a systemic scale. Criminology 101: when the institution protects its own predators while weaponizing transparency against outsiders, you’re not looking at governance. You’re looking at a racketeering enterprise with better tailors. Legally? This vote spits in the face of every oath they swore. Public office is a public trust. Ethics Committee reports on misconduct by members and staff aren’t their private therapy notes...they’re records of potential crimes against the very system they claim to serve. Yet they demand Epstein-level sunlight on Trump while hiding their own ledgers. That’s not hypocrisy. That’s obstruction with intent. That’s the legal definition of a cover-up cabal terrified the American people might finally see the full predator map of Capitol Hill. They don’t want justice. They want theater. They want the illusion of outrage while the real rot festers in darkness. Every scream about “Trump and Epstein” was never about victims...it was about power. Every vote to bury these reports proves it in blood-red ink. This is the unmasking. The mask is off. The pathology is terminal. Primary every last one of these 357 cowards. Burn the veil. The people are done being played by a bunch of criminals in couture...your tailored treason just got executed in broad daylight, and the runway of your betrayal ends in the gutter where it belongs. 🗡️💀⚖️🗡️

Not a person particularly moved by political matters, I was genuinely startled to see the whole of the Democrat Party remain seated during SOTU when ask to stand if you support the notion that government should serve citizens, not illegal aliens. The scene nearly took my breath away. Add the same approach to supporting the parents of a brutally murdered girl and the banning of child mutilation. They sat for those too. Is this an entire party of ghouls and freaks? Truly, it's bizarre. How can they win an election ever again/

I saw yesterday that a teammate of mine posted a long note that had all the cringey hallmarks of AI-generated text: very short sentences for emphasis, "this is not just...it's...", "...and that changes everything..." , etc. And it struck me all the sudden that for those who haven't done a lot of reading and writing pre-AI, they might not even realize how cringe it is. They might think that is just what good writing is like.
