I wrote about The Aretha Franklin Amphitheatre’s 40 anniversary for the @metrotimes . I interviewed Shahida Mausi (owner of the Right Productions which governs the theater) and her son Ron Mausi. Kendrick Lamar’s “Luther” video was shot inside the Westin Boneventure Hotel in Los Angeles, the building designed by John Portman. He’s the same architect who designed Detroit’s GM Renaissance Center.
