@islanders_takes I thought the best Islander tonight was Pelech. He was beast out there.

#isles I didn't tweet much because I was just into this game. I love how every line played. Honestly, the 4th line really surprised me in the best possible way. The resurgence of Cizikas is so good to see. But that 3rd line was so good and I had no expectation it would be. I thought this was Holmstrom's best game in easily 7-8 games. Sorokin was great. The Horvat line really looked great with Shabanov on it - he's so creative and they were just outstanding. And I thought Barzy was a monster tonight early. He faded a bit but man he was a monster early.

@islanders_takes I went back and freeze framed it. The puck was at least on the goal line before we lose sight of it. Can’t imagine why they didn’t look at it. Glad it didn’t matter

@JackGlanzer Two of my friends are actually very famous (by Curling standards) curlers. It's a lot of damned fun.

Besides hockey, obviously, y'all have any other "fandoms" or consuming hobbies? I spend a lot of time in the great outdoors, climbing and recently hunting. But... I also have this historical obsession with shipwrecks (Titanic, Bismark, etc.) that I spend goofy amounts of time listening to essays about while working in the office.

@RTaub_ I agree with many who wrote K Johnson and Persson. Langevin was excellent defensively too, sort of like todays version of Pelech. For forwards (I know I’m cheating add more than 3), Derek King and Billy Harris are 2 that were very valuable players. And Chico in goal is underrated

@alanhahn I’d have to go with 1975. First playoff win ever is against the Rangers 11 seconds into OT: winning a series after being down 0-3 against Pitt and then almost doing it again against Philly.

1993 or 2021 #Isles 🤔 I mean the correct answer is 1984 but we were spoiled by then to call that a “legitimately fun” playoff run.

@takeitoutjoe @palmettocurling @KyleOShay I listened to the podcast. Compliments for having them on. But I still don’t understand how this benefits their contstituents. Seemed like the 2 of them based their decision on their personal biases against the GNCC.

@palmettocurling @KyleOShay All delegates were respresntatives voting on behalf of constituents. I don't blame the AAC for voting based on their perceived understanding of their constituents. They should do that. The lack of understanding of the impact of that vote is what concerns me.

Very insightful episode with Steven Birklid and Alex Agre. Interestingly, they thought the Members Assembly would be a "good discussion" and that Plush would clear the air while engaging with the clubs.

The current board acted only after immense pressure. They also need to revisit their expulsion of the #GNCC. Find out why clubs were leaving USCA in the first place and work on those issues.

As others have stated, this better be just the first step. Personally, I have no confidence in any current #USACurling board member. For the good of the sport, there should be more resignations soon.

Finally, #Usacurl makes the obvious move in removing Flush. I’ll assume his resignation was forced because a person of integrity would have resigned a long time ago. usacurling.org/press-releases…

Thank you to @monwalkcurl @tgeorge1323 and others for supporting the recreational curlers of the @GNCC_curling. It’s a disgrace many of the others who we all rooted for so strongly at national and international events weren’t there for us when we really needed them. @usacurl
