Biological sex matters in medicine. Medicine is not sociology. It’s biology. In biology, sex is real, binary, and fundamentally relevant to health, disease, and diagnosis. This isn’t controversial. It’s molecular fact. Ignoring this will misdiagnose, mistreat, and kill.

@NormalGayPsych Agreed. As gay men ourselves the irony is that our rights were built upon the recognition that sexual orientation is not a choice. If attraction is innate, then homosexual men are attracted to the same sex because they are homosexual men. That is not discrimination.

@zaelefty is absolutely correct. A disorder of sexual development is exactly that - a developmental disorder occurring within one of the two sexes. Every DSD diagnosis depends upon first knowing what male and female development normally are.
