See where your attack angle gets on plane in the swing
(Green range is 4-16 degrees)
Out front point of contact tends to be:
- Higher EV📈
- Higher AA📈
- More Damage🚀
But only if your bat path is moving the right way
AND then we still have room for error

Highly suggest that gaining a good understanding of the physics of bat to ball collisions will greatly improve your coaching abilities. This will also help you understand batted ball outcomes based on how the bat moves thru space.

Smash Factor Balls are great for training bat speed because they allow for high-intensity swings without punishment for mishits. But that bat speed has to carry over into hitting baseballs.

Indy Ball OF @MikeyWhalen increased his Peak Exit Velo +4.03mph over the month of training leading up to the season
Major changes to his Bat Path — primarily lowering his Attack Angle — led to dramatically improved contact quality
MaxEV% on Contact: 85.9➡️92.3
