At the end of the day, Carnell Tate *feels* like a reach, but the alternatives were a linebacker who *may* be able to transition to edge, an inside linebacker, and a running back *if* he was there.
If they’re close on your board, you take the WR every day of the week.

Was my favorite choice among the guys on the board after Bailey and Love went. Would have loved to have gotten him after a small trade back but this is BIG time help for Cam Ward and the offense.

Third choice is Carnell Tate. Bit of a reach at 4 without question but not a huge one. Good size, smooth athlete and route runner, excellent hands, high IQ, wins at all levels. If he had better RAC, I’d be more excited, but he’s got WR1 upside, just not top-5 NFL WR upside.
