The most difficult part of distance learning will be not really getting to know students. Submitting work online doesn’t allow for the same relationship as being in the classroom together. There’s no additional conversation online-how will I learn which lil rapper is the worst?

Tons of my favorite memories all share the same setting — my classroom.

@taylormrichards I would argue it’d be more efficient teaching mixed martial arts such as jiu jitsu as it teaches people how to defend and diffuse situations and would help to discipline them. If they were confident in their physical combat they would feel less inclined to use weapons.

I think if there’s one thing we can all agree on, it’s that officers need more extensive training, especially with firearms. And that the legal and moral responsibility of handing a gun in a position of power should be focused on just as much as how to properly operate the gun.

Just some constructive criticism: I went to beauty school for a total of 1200 hours. 400 of those hours go towards electrologist training, learning to operate skin/hair lasers that can cause harm if used improperly.
