The Twins played it cheap this past offseason yet they’re going to go to sleep tonight just fine because deep down they really don’t care about winning. They got their TV money tucked away so they’re happy. As a fan, the whole situation is a slap in the face.

@TFTwins But to me what stings the most is we will NEVER be a realistic landing spot for a long term landing spot for a big name FA. We will not be throwing that money at another player like we did with C4.

The details have changed but my thoughts on the Correa situation haven't: Not going over 10/$285MM or whatever, I get it! There's just a shit ton of room between that and what they've done/will end up doing in free agency.
