@JacklinHunter the lack of a support system for children attending school could give rise to an educational issue. In order for young children to succeed in their studies, they need to have individuals around them who will guide and assist them in their journey. #EM203problems
@Lindsay78910 Hi Lindsay. It is essential to interact with those around us, and you are correct in saying technology has facilitated this greatly. I think this is also why there are so many learning styles that have emerged from the use of technology.
Throughout the first few weeks of this course, I have learned how important it is to interact with those around you. Technology has become very prevalent, and it is extremely important to be able to use and interact with all those social platforms. #EM203Robin
@em203_c Hi Cara. It is neat to learn about the different styles considering we do hear more about the typical four that you mentioned. It will be interesting to see how as technology changes, the styles of learning continue to develop.
Initially, we only learned through 4 styles; visual, auditory, literacy, and kinesthetic. This course has shown a broader array of learning forms (objectivism, graphic, etc.), broadened by technology. Each type has it's own benefits dependent on the person and content #EM203Robin
@EM203ESCHILL Hi Emily. I certainly agree with you. I also think that as technology continues to develop, the use of it in the classroom will too. It is incredible to think of the possibilities technology could one day have in the classroom.
Throughout the first three weeks of this course I have learned about the new and innovative ways in which we can approach learning, particularly through the use of technology. I also found it interesting to see how multitasking affects learning! #EM203Robin
@EM203JBotta Hi Jess. You bring up a very important point talking about the impact technology has on learning. It is eye-opening to look at it from a different perspective and experiment with how we can more efficiently use technology in a learning environment.
Following the first few weeks in EM203, I have gained a much deeper understanding of the various learning theories and what areas of study may benefit most from each theory. Additionally, I've become aware of the immense impact technology has made on learning. #EM203Robin
@EM203Chad Hi Chad! It certainly does seem like there are so many more ways to learn than what we knew previously. It is also neat to see how we all interact with these different types of tools.
My viewpoint on learning has completely changed in these first few weeks of class. The learning theories, available technology and tools, applications and possible avenues learning can go down is intriguing and I cannot wait to see what the rest of the class brings. #EM203Robin
@AleshaledrewE Hi Alesha! I agree. It seems as though even as we are learning about different ways to learn, we ourselves are developing our knowledge of how we learn.
The beginning of this course has expanded my interest on how technology is continuously paving the way for new learning and accessing knowledge! Utilizing Pixton & Twitter to interact and communicate with peers, while understand learning theories has been eye opening. #EM203Robin
Throughout these last three weeks, I have learned about the various ways we all develop and engage with new knowledge. Accordingly, this course has provided an engaging way to step out of our comfort zone and try something new. #EM203Robin
