Talked myself into $ASTS in after hours. 8% account allocation. Been wanting to get into the space sector with the coming SpaceX IPO. Up to this point I couldn’t bring myself to chase these high fliers. The Blue Origin blow up sent the stock down to the 9 EMA. I like how we saw two 4HR rejections of the 9 EMA. Also near the trendline support. OBV MACD did turn purple so this could be a quick exit if we lose the 9EMA; however, I could also see this rebounding to fill the upper gap. NFA

Closed out $GOOX around 1:15pm today for a 5% loss. Only allocated around 15% of my account for the trade so loss was pretty minimal.
Current holdings are $TQQQ, $MU, $PENG, $ASPI, and $MRVL. All are up with $MU the clear winner at +29%.
$MRVL was added today when it was down. Looks like a breakout and retest and hold of trendline. Did get a negative color change on OBV MACD on afternoon candle but that can be negated quickly with continued strength.
Seems like high beta names took a bit of a hit today so happy with another overall profitable day!

As they say, better to be lucky than good! This position already up 19% in a couple days. Wish I hadn’t stayed on the sidelines for so long waiting for the bottom to drop out. $MU
Had a thought 🤔 that there now seems to be a disconnect between the $SPX and individual sectors. In past years it seemed like a bad day in $SPX meant a bad day across all sectors. Maybe the market structure has changed due to the inflated weightings of the top stocks.
Seems to be more of a stock-picker’s market now. Fine with me as it’s more fun than only trading the index as I’ve been doing for the past year and a half+. I do believe you need a system in place to be nimble with your exits. At some point, we may see some vicious selling of these high flyers.

Still haven’t made a move into $SPY but did enter a swing long position in $MU today. Hoping to see the next push into ATH’s. EMA’s are 9, 15, 21 (day). Bottom indicator is a MACD built from OBV. Got the momentum and volume confirmations today. Exit at a 4hr close below 15d EMA. Size appropriately! NFA.

Entered a $TQQQ position on Friday. Exit when two of the following occur: 4HR close below 9d EMA, ADX histo turns purple, OBV/MACD turns purple. New swing system I'm trying out.
Was hoping that war did not restart over the weekend. So far looking like the opposite is happening. Maybe a lucky entry!

A good chance that this is the start of the pullback I’ve been waiting (too long!) for.
So many red flags. Weak market breadth, $HYG in a downtrend for almost a month, bearish RSI divergence in $SPY, etc. The nail in the coffin will be a spike in $VIX relative to its recent moving averages.
Hoping to see a pullback to 21ema and then continuation but a deeper pullback is certainly on the table after a historic rally concentrated in one sector.
Still sitting in cash but ready to deploy long or short depending on the signal. Will update when I enter. Have a great weekend!

$HYG is another chart that is extremely vulnerable for takedown on monthly, weekly, daily timeframe. If it dumps, $SPY will dump.
