Yesterday was day 5/184 of trying to make $50K in profit from torturing Claude. Yesterday: • Aditus: an app that sets up OpenClaw (almost done (relatively speaking)) • "Mystery app" - UI polish + bug fixes (NDA'd) • Skied (spring break) I know "mystery app" sounds fake. When it ships, I’ll talk about it. If it doesn't, I'll own up to it.

Zero-human companies are real now (they’ve been real, but just a bit difficult to make work) Thankfully, @alphaschoolatx has been prepping us for this since middle school. no excuses now, I have to make some money

@Jackson__Price What’s interesting with systems like this is what happens a few years later. When students keep notes, mentors, and projects around the same interest, the knowledge starts compounding. Over time the network around that field becomes the real asset.

Bill Gurley wrote a book on how to get rich off your obsession; my high school told us to read it and asked us: “what are we getting wrong?” Turns out we already got a lot right: - We use the concept of ikigai to help freshmen find what they’re obsessed with before they build anything - Every student has a second brain, and they add to it every day: we’re always learning about our field - And every student builds a board of advisors: experts in their field who make sure we’re on the right track What we (the students) decided we can improve: - Rotate freshmen through short apprenticeships before they pick a project; you can’t chase an obsession you haven’t been exposed to - Random 1-on-1s between students in different fields: the best ideas come from unexpected collisions - Teach students to join existing communities instead of building from scratch We run our school like a startup: ship, get feedback, iterate

Day 3/184 before I have to reach $50,000 profit Traveling to ski for spring break. Still working, but no WiFi on planes meant basically just X and planning today. Do you cut back your hours on vacation or try to keep the same pace?
