Glad I'm not the only one who feels this way.
There is currently an illusion of speed with LLMs. The first 95% takes 5% of the time it used to, but the last 5% takes 20× the time, resulting in ~breakeven productivity.

@tszzl True. I speculated that as perceived capability on chitchat saturated, this would change for chat… it’s not clear whether the thesis was wrong or if the shift from answers > actions and from chitchat > code raised the ceiling. As one sigmoid saturates another emerges…
