@WomanDefiner I agree 100%. Unless youre in a combat role and/or are gravely physically injured you should not be eligible for ANY military disability. I live in one of the biggest military places in the country and the amount of douchebags ive seen brag about f*cking the system sickens me

"The Funhouse" was released on this day in 1981. Fantastic carnival-set slasher from legendary director Tobe Hooper, and screenwriter Larry Block.
Highlights: Fantastic makeup and practical effects by Rick Baker and Craig Reardon; wonderful cinematography by Andrew Laszlo; excellent John Beal score.
"The Funhouse" was a sleeper box office success, grossing nearly four times its production budget. A staple on video store shelves in the 80s (with updated cover art showcasing one of THE great taglines: "Pay to get in. Pray to get out."), it also produced a popular novelization written by Dean Koontz.
Underrated and excellent.

@DaveBuzan The Funhouse is a banger! The book was great too, Nothing plot wise really was the same asides from the kids going into the carnival and meeting Amy's moms ex husband and the twin son. Even that wasn't in the movie really. But of itself, a wonderfully dark gritty 80s gem!!

I am first to admit I don’t like the Palladium system. A cobbled together mishmash of houserules that started out as AD&D. On the other hand though, I love their settings. Rifts is top tier. Beyond the Supernatural is exciting and innovative (Nega-Psychics rock!). Ninjas and Superspies is like a catalog of global martial arts forms. I’ve never ran or played it, but as a sourcebook for Ninja Hero.
