@_TyAnderson Not only that, but if Mckenna turns into the player everyone expects, that '28 pick isn't gonna be very high either...
English

Basically worst case scenario for “get help now” case. Bruins really needed that pick for a defenseman that’d be here by this time next year and then to use their own pick for a trade for help up front. All out the window.
Peter@pxv3744
@_TyAnderson I take it the ammo to get pasta a partner just got tossed out the window?

@StoolGreenie Queta needs to show he can guard legit bigs without practically fouling out every game before they sign him to an extension
English

I found the language about the Neemy/Walsh options being picked up interesting
Will those also be extensions, or would Brad want to avoid any sort of future money for the summer of 2027 (if they stay under the repeater and then go big fish hunting), but then risk losing either guy in UFA?
No brainer decision to pick up the options, but I'd love to also see team friendly extensions

@StoolGreenie I love Rob, but can we please finally just get a big without an injury history longer than a CVS receipt?

Celts will enter the Draft with around $13.2M of space BEFORE crossing over the luxury tax. Assuming they keep their pick, take off a few million for the rookie
They have the full NTP-MLE (was $14.1M this year) to spend without even touching their $28M TPE
In theory, that could be 2 players for under $10M or one player (big or shot creator) for closer to $10M
Point is, Brad has tools to add while ALSO staying under the luxury tax if the goal is to stay under to reset the repeater, but also has the flexibility if a high salary player arises that they would be willing to go back over the tax for, they have the $28M TPE
Could you maybe get someone like Rob for $6-8M?

@StoolGreenie I find it amazing a 7' 280lb center can have just 1 foul in an entire half when he lives in the paint

@_TyAnderson The audio mix on ESPN is so bad it's hard to even tell if they're loud or not
English

I think there's been some dull crowds over the years. Problem with ticket prices being insane. First-round costs you what a Cup Final used to cost you. Prices out diehards. Tonight, cannot blame them. They were ready. Beyond ready.
Ben@Cacoila
@_TyAnderson I appreciate that you don’t blame the crowd. I cannot stand that take
English

@_TyAnderson Pasta could take it end to end and Felger would still say he's cherry picking
English

So, they've been doing the high flip out of defensive zone a lot this series, which creates 1v1 foot race. On OT goal, Pastrnak is just coming on to ice, and Byram is fresh and gliding into O-zone, so really 88 just had to beat Samuelsson for inside ice at end of very long shift.
Augusta Bracknell@BackbreakeLady
@_TyAnderson when felger says Pastrnak is cherry picking is that not just how they want to get the puck out of their zone? I feel like I see other players doing it when 88 isn’t on the ice.
English

@SeanGrandePBP Peacock again? They really don't want fans watching games
English

But Breslow is still here? Sell the team @John_W_Henry

Cora, Ramon, Varitek, Hudson, Fatse is what I’m being told. Gone. Unbelievable.
