@SkyNewsAust Even when these people discard their foreign citizenship it changes nothing, they are still foreigners. They vote for whoever promises to import more of them, live in their ethnic enclaves and advocate for the their diaspora.
An even better policy would be mass deportations.
Angus Taylor has said migrants “will have to make a choice” between Australia and their foreign passport under Coalition changes, with India and China among nations that do not permit dual nationality.

Pauline Hanson has pushed the Coalition to consider forming government with One Nation if her party wins more seats than the Liberals and Nationals at the next federal election.

@_Tumbawumba@SkyNewsAust You do realise that it takes decades to rectify the current cost of living issues right?
Suggesting we build more coal and gas plants - decades.
Like housing affordability - takes decade+ and consistent successive government policies.
Crazy not to think that way. The Labor Party is the one common enemy that needs to be thrown out of office.
Australian Labor are doing what UK Labour under Starmer have been doing. Enacting socialist policies that do nothing but put pressure on families. Large immigration intake, through the roof energy prices, inflation numbers up, government spending up, more public servants, etc...
Then we're being told it's all our fault, because we don't agree with their policies.
@PsychoAIProd@latestinspace Distant future. Self replicating Nanites are still far future tech.
You have a huge heat dissipation problem with molecular assembly (nanites) and it is extremely powerful hungry which is far beyond us.
@latestinspace NASA investing billions into Moon bases is a step forward
but autonomous robots could scale across the solar system far faster than any crewed program
self-replicating swarms building habitats on Mars, Enceladus and beyond
that’s what the future looks like
🚨 NASA is cancelling plans to build a space station around the Moon and will instead spend $20 billion to build a permanent base on the surface
The agency says it will target crewed lunar landings every six months
“It may have been one small step for Neil, but it’s a heck of a big leap for me.”
On Feb 7, 1984, astronaut Bruce McCandless II exited Challenger and used NASA's Manned Maneuverability Unit—a nitrogen-propelled jetpack—for the first ever untethered spacewalk.
@Michel812071772@S0P_HI_A@konstructivizm This is not really a great argument for space exploration now. We are still a scarcity-driven society. Our priority should be to master fusion (unlimited clean energy) and then matter synthesis E=mc2 (creating anything we need from that energy).
@S0P_HI_A@konstructivizm In 1 billion years will humans
Survive on earth ?
NO.
The sun will burn us up.
Where will humans go IF they survive? IF we want to live beyond, ,,,
It's important that we find a habitable place
A new potentially habitable planet near Earth has been discovered.
Astronomers have discovered a planet, HD 137010 b, nearly the size of Earth, 146 light-years away. Its radius is approximately 6 percent larger than Earth's, and its orbital period is approximately 355 days. The probability that the planet is in the habitable zone is estimated at 50 percent. The discovery was made using data from the K2 mission of the Kepler space telescope and confirmed by an international team of scientists.
The planet's star is cooler and dimmer than the Sun, so surface conditions may resemble Mars, with temperatures below 70 degrees Celsius. The planet was detected by a single transit, which precludes definitive confirmation of its status. The scientists note that the proximity and brightness of the star make the system a promising target for next-generation telescopes and future observations.

@DavidSchae59028@UncaDD@latestinspace Sadly we really need a planet killer asteroid on its way in 2 years to force the nations of the world into making the UN a true unifying world government and focus all resources into saving the world.
@UncaDD@latestinspace I wud bet that the beings that made us have already did the same on many other planets. I can only hope that they are a better species than us horrible humans that fight over greedy ideals and ruin this beautiful planet with waste . We can’t even save ourselves
According to an index developed in 2015, the Earth is not the most habitable planet discovered in the Universe. Kepler-442b, a rocky exoplanet 1,206 light years away and orbiting its star's habitable zone, has a rating of 0.836. Earth is at 0.829.

@rshereme That will call other countries to reclaim lost territory to other countries by different means. That includes Mexico from whom the US stole more than half of its territory.
“Russia will support China in defending state unity and territorial integrity in the event of a possible escalation in the Taiwan Strait.” — Lavrov.
Personally, I hope China will one day also recall its lands in the Far East that once belonged to the Qing dynasty — and apply the same principle of “territorial integrity” there as well.
A brief history lesson: In the mid-19th century, russia exploited China’s weakness during the Opium Wars and forced Beijing to sign unequal treaties transferring vast territories to russia. In Chinese historiography, these lands are known as Outer Manchuria.
Today, they constitute about 10% of current russian territory — including the Amur region (Amur Oblast, Jewish Autonomous Oblast, Khabarovsk Krai) and Primorye, with Vladivostok.

Ubisoft Montreal was the lead studio on the original Assassin’s Creed Black Flag and Ubisoft Singapore was the supporting studio for that game.
But now it is the opposite: Ubisoft Singapore is the lead studio for the Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, and Ubisoft Montreal is the supporting studio.
Let’s see whether the remake will be better than the original or not.

@HumanityAs@bitemeta@rickygervais I think you mean the morals and ethics of the good sides of Christianity/ other religions have done a lot of good in that respect
But as a whole religions have caused the majority of all wars. Be better off without them.
@bitemeta@rickygervais You do know this person is right. God and Jesus and the whole mythos is imaginary. And thats kind of the point. You have to choose to have faith of your own free will. That's 100% Christianity. If you don't want to, don't. But Christ, as an idea, has done alot of good.
We had an official complaint from a lovely gentleman about this billboard. He claimed he'd seen it in a station and was absolutely disgusted and demanded it be taken down. We explained it was never up. Sometimes the complaints will be false.
@bitemeta@rickygervais 24% of the world is non religious so i wouldn't exactly say "the vast majority". That number is rapidly increasing. As we venture out into the cosmos we should see the hokum rapidly disappear.
@EarthisflatTony@NASAhistory@NASAArtemis The shadow cast on the Earth during a solar eclipse is round.
The notion that the earth is flat is absurd and requires the belief in and actuality of a global conspiracy where everyone but you is in on pretending the Earth is round.
@NASAhistory@NASAArtemis 🤣🤣🤣 go tell that bullshit to someone else you retards! Earth is flat & stationary not a stupid globe/planet/oblate pear shaped spheroid globe 🤣🤣 Are you stupid?
Artemis I's Orion spacecraft captured this view of our planet from 57,000 miles away #OTD in 2022. It was the first human-rated spacecraft to fly around the Moon since Apollo 17, nearly 50 years earlier.
We can't wait to see the Artemis II crew's photos!
Elon Musk’s startup Neuralink has announced a breakthrough: a paralyzed man has managed to control a drone using only the power of thought.
The patient, who suffered a spinal cord injury, used an implanted brain interface to steer the drone and later wrote computer code linking the Neuralink chip to the drone’s control system.
It marks the first time a person with complete paralysis has remotely operated a device without any physical movement or external sensors.
Neuralink says the technology could pave the way for restoring independence to people with severe injuries.
@ChannySaako@forallcurious Then we launch every nuclear weapon we have at it & the subsequent fallout rains down on Earth, mutating every animal and insect into giants that near-wipe us out.
@forallcurious ☄️
Makes sense. It was outgassing like a mother effer. My next thought is.. Will a fragmented piece of this get stuck in the suns orbit and come around and wipe us out eventually? 😱
BREAKINF NEWS🚨: Mysterious interstellar object 3I/ATLAS may have just Exploded
"This would mean that 3I/ATLAS exploded at perihelion and we are witnessing the resulting fireworks."
@Bryan1732553@forallcurious Imagine believing that the entire world is somehow all involved in a conspiracy to make you believe space is real. Cause that makes more sense than space just being a known proven part of reality.
BREAKING🚨: 3I/ATLAS is venting jets nearly 3 million kilometers long
At 326 million km away, that’s 2.85 million kilometers of jet structure, the scale of a small star.
@LloydSt91311800@forallcurious Given how our civilisation hasn't collapsed yet and we have reached a pivotal point where we may become space faring and multi-planetary in near future, it would make us pretty darn interesting. There's a reason we haven't detected any other advanced civilisations in the galaxy.
@forallcurious Not saying it's little green men but If a civilization had that kind of means to traverse space, it might think earth was not that special, it could have seen way more interesting planetary bodies out there, think of how excited we get when we see an ant mound.
🚨: According to a NASA engineer 3I/ATLAS performed a non gravitational maneuver while passing behind the Sun
Davide Farnocchia, a navigation engineer at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, provided the first evidence of the object’s unexplained motion.
Data revealed that 3IATLAS experienced a radial acceleration of 135 kilometers per day squared away from the Sun along with a transverse acceleration of 60 kilometers per day squared.

Unions are the cornerstone of checks and balances for businesses. Without unions we would all be working to death for pennies.
Rockstar Games has fired 40 employees in the United Kingdom due to their union activities.
All the employees were part of a private union chat group on Discord and were union members or were attempting to organize within the company.
@Melahi65919940@forallcurious It is mathematically sound and works within general relativity. Just like wormholes.
Like many theories it is just science we are yet to make reality.
The only way we can explore the galaxy is to achieve some form of FTL like technology.
🚨: Warp Drive engine can travel at speed of light but according to physics nothing can travel that fast
We cannot break the speed of light, but warp drives are a neat trick for getting around that.
