Sometimes I like to turn off my lights in my room so the natural light can filter in my which means shutting off coal powered lights and conserving energy! #apesenergy @franklinlorax

My family and I make sure to keep things unplugged that we are not using. This saves a lot more money and a lot more energy then if we had it plugged in all the time. @franklinlorax #apesenergy

At my house, we have our thermostat programmed a certain way to conserve energy. At night and when we’re not home, we have it programmed to be cooler. #apesenergy @franklinlorax

This is Milwaukee in the 1890’s. There wasn’t as much high density housing as there is today with all of the apartment buildings. With all of the new opportunity in Milwaukee. More people have moved here. @franklinlorax #apesland

Like my dresser and many other things in my house are made out of wood like other people. But people don’t think about it, but many trees and animal habitats are being cut down daily and we need to try to lower the logging operations around the world. #apesland @franklinlorax

My driveway is made out of concrete, which has cement in it. Making cement results in high levels of CO2 output & weather changes. I would recommend switching to bluestone when making driveways to help decrease climate change and help the environment. @franklinlorax #apesland

after taking the ecological footprint survey, i found out that if everybody lived like me, we would need 4.7 earths worth of resources to actually live... one way that i try to reduce that number is by carpooling w friends. #apespop @franklinlorax

For community credit myself along with others, were able to cut down some invasive species that were called buckthorn, to lower the population due to it causing an ecological imbalance. #apeseco @franklinlorax

Through an extra credit opportunity, we were able to cut down an invasive species called buckthorn that out-competes native plant species with its fast growth rate and distinctive phenology. @franklinlorax #apeseco

Whenever I use sinks like this one to wash my hands, brush my teeth, etc, the water goes from here to the oak creek water treatment plant where it takes this water and cleans it so it’s usable again. @franklinlorax #apeswater
