When we finish cans of soda in our house, we throw them away in our recycling bin. This helps to reduce the amount of waste that is sent to landfills and incinerators. @franklinlorax #apeswaste

Less people have been using their cars due to quarantine and are instead using their bikes for some fresh air and something to do. This is great for our air and environment because there are less pollutants and emissions going into the air. #apesair @franklinlorax

because of the extended stay at home order, our car has barely left our garage! which is good because there’s less NOx being emitted from all of the cars, including our own. @franklinlorax #apesair

All weather occurs in the troposphere which is the layer we live in. The seasons we experience are caused by the tilt of the Earths axis. I’m sick of this 30 degree weather and can’t wait till it’s summer weather!! @franklinlorax #apesair

When I’m not using my phone charger, I make sure to unplug it. Even when it isn’t actively being used, keeping it plugged in is wasteful and adds up. Unplugging not only conserves energy but also helps you save money on your electrical bill @franklinlorax #apesenergy

when it’s not raining outside, it’s nice to open up my windows. Especially at night, then I don’t have to plug my fan in or mess with the ac, (which instead would use unnecessary electricity) @franklinlorax #apesenergy

This is Milwaukee in the 1890’s. There wasn’t as much high density housing as there is today with all of the apartment buildings. With all of the new opportunity in Milwaukee. More people have moved here. @franklinlorax #apesland
