Few months ago, before the bombs, Trump undermined warnings regarding Hormuz. He bet on regime collapse, his advisers knew he couldn’t afford closure.
Economy’s his whole pitch, markets need wins, failure’s not an option. He ignored their warnings anyway.
Any other leader might roll the dice, but he’s too desperate for quick glory.
War means accepting loss, he won’t. Same from Stavridis, Mann, inside folks, shut down as defeatist. Now Hormuz’s locked, regime’s collapse fantasy didn’t manifest.
And here we go again: deployment of forces to Hormuz won’t open it. American presence is the trigger, not leverage, one shot, insurers bail, tankers stop. No ceasefire, no flow.
Iran won’t compromise, they want your soldiers there just so they can send ’em back in bags. So why deploy?
Why put lives on a table that’s already folded?
Million-dollar question: If the gamble’s dead, why bet soldiers anyway? Why send ’em?

It pains me to say this and I really hope my premise here is incorrect and Trump is deceiving the IRGC by implying that the war is almost over, BUT if he decides to end the war while the IRGC is still firing ballistic cluster bombs at Tel Aviv, you have to ask how strong his alliance with Israel really is. Abandoning Israel before the missiles stop indefinitely is not how a friend behaves. Again, I truly hope I’m wrong but the more he talks about ending the war because “We won”, the more I question how he views the US/Israel friendship. Is this only an American war or is it equally an Israeli war? Then if they’re still firing missiles at Israel, how does President Trump say “We won”? Who exactly is “We” in this context? Disclaimer: Trump has been the best friend Israel has ever had in the White House and for that, I, along with basically all Israelis, am tremendously grateful. For that reason, I hope and believe that Trump won’t abandon Israel.

🚨 Trump confirms CIA claims about Iran’s new supreme leader
US President Donald Trump says the CIA told him that Iran’s new supreme leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, is gay.
“They did say that, but I don’t know if it was only them. I think a lot of people are saying that, which puts [Khamenei] off to a bad start in that particular country.”
The claim stems from a report that Khamenei allegedly had a long-term relationship with a male childhood tutor, and that his father, Ali Khamenei, viewed this as disqualifying.
Trump also criticized Western activists supporting Palestinians:
