@frogfella1 @usr_bin_roygbiv I still run circles around my coworkers that use AI. Did you know that Claude code is instructed to *not* change existing code. It's a copy paste machine that turns your codebase to hell very quickly

@usr_bin_roygbiv I know how, that is the problem. Just felt outdone for a moment by the sheer volume an llm can put out.

This is amazing! Trump supporter Dalton Eatherly, the rightwing racist influencer who goes by ChudtheBuilder, was just held on $1.25 million bond for attempted aggravated murder. Watching his reaction is EPIC. Hopefully he rots in prison for the rest of his life.

Am I the only one getting vibe coding fatigue? Building landing pages in 30 seconds was fun, but maintaining a complex codebase where half the logic was “vibed” into existence is an absolute headache. Feels like we traded 1 hour of typing for 5 hours of architectural debugging later. I’ve started manually writing core logic again so I actually know where the technical debt is hiding. Is anyone successfully managing large production projects with AI agents, or are we all just building disposable software?

Never in my life will I let something generate code for 2 hours without my direct supervision. @jetbrains fix this! If I want to set a /goal then I will work with it to satisfy and steer that goal. Maybe more like /day ?

Yes Brian, people really believe it bc it's factually accurate. Biden inherited a 1.4% inflation rate from Trump's first term and left office with prices 20% higher across the board. That's not spin — that's the CPI data. Trump inherited the inflation. The receipts exist and Krassenstein knows it.

DO PEOPLE REALLY BELIEVE THIS CRAP? Trump: “When they talk about high prices, I inherited the high prices. I'm getting them down.”

@AmberWoods100 @Real___iTamara But this is exactly why ppl voted for Trump bc he said he and MAGA was the completely opposite of Dems. And that was 2 years ago. Things have changed a lot since then. MAGA is in charge and proving to be just as bad as Dems or even worse.

If the Epstein files were so important to the democrats, why weren't they screaming for them to be released while Biden was President?

@pliutau It'll be pretty funny to watch them play whack-a-mole once the CVEs start to stack up. Can you imagine a merge conflict on a 1mil line codebase that was structured by a fucking clanker trained on OSS

@Jacob_Ninja @RonQwatkins @EdKrassen Hmm, that never happened before, said no one ever. Selective outrage weakens your case. Dems fucked up by letting the Pelosi family and democrat senators walk away free and clear. So now we can label you as having TDS. Sorry, you lose, but I am sure you're used to it

Trump sold $30 million in stocks 2 weeks before he attacked Iran. Read that again.

Probability Zero: They call me Mr. Markus
For you I recommend you look into a mirror and with full conviction state, "I am a complete moron." Parents need to feed their kids, not the tax payer. Parents who can't afford to feed their kids need to reconsider their life choices. People, like you, who believe it is my responsibility to feed other people's kids can go straight to h3ll. Do not pass go, do not collect $200.

@dreamsofcode_io Gotcha so it's like a red/green strategy to make sure the test is valuable. Thanks 👍

This works best for regressions I find, but I have a skill that prompts the agent to prove that something doesn’t work or a behavior isn’t implemented by writing a test. Then it has to wait for me to run the test and review it for correctness before it can implement the change. I’ve found this solves a lot of the garbage testing that agents like to create and I can actually proof that the fix was implemented. It’s not perfect, but it’s better than not doing it.
