My guy has been exploring properties in Italy and Sicily. He wants us to move there, if not permanently, then part-time. He served in the Navy; he is a veteran. He is fed up with everything here: the healthcare system, taxes, the freeloaders living off our dime, the crime, our corrupt government, and the poison in our food, air, and water. The tragic death of my nephew Matthew Perna affected him greatly, and his trust in our country is gone...no matter who the president is. I am eligible for dual citizenship, and if not for having a son here in the US, I wouldn't have to think about this at all. I would sell our house and move with 2 suitcases in a heartbeat. I will start talking to my son about moving too. It is the only way I can agree to this. He is never voting again. He hasn't watched the news in over 6 months, and doesn't do social media anymore. He is happier having his head buried in the sand, and I won't do anything to change that.

We recently stayed at a Spark by @Hilton in Orlando. We got a one bedroom suite, which was not a one bedroom suite. The first room they checked us into had a mold, mildew, animal urine smell they knew existed, evidenced by the air purifier they added in an attempt to reduce the smell. The second room didn't have the acrid smell. But, the entire hotel was dreary, painted in the darkest of colors. There was a fold out sofa in the front part of the room, but no television. The one bedroom suite consisted of two rooms separated by a middle bathroom, but the front room was essentially wasted space. The entire inside of the hotel, decor and all, was like they purchased a cheesy hotel, slapped some discount paint around, that nobody else wanted, and called it good. Miserable experience, to say the least.

I literally don’t understand how anyone with half a brain can look at these pictures that I’ve posted at a hotel I’m currently saying it and think it’s acceptable for a Hilton brand? USPS has lost billions in just over 20 years. It is either a horribly run system, the best we can expect from a non-government (government) agency, or a system beaten down by a bloated union. Whatever the case, it is time to abolish USPS or transition it to a privately run operation.

Here’s an idea: Deliver mail 2 to 3 days a week instead of 6. All most people need.

The banning of plastic bags radicalized me. Because I knew immediately that this would make zero difference in the environment (there is still plastic everywhere in the same grocery store that won't allow you to use it as a bag.) All future funds flow into the Social Security system, and Congress participates with the American people. It may not be used for any other purpose. 3. Congress must purchase their own retirement plan, just as ALL Americans do. 4. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Congressional pay will rise at the same rate as the COLA for monthly Social Security recipients minus 1% if having a budget balance deficit. 5. Congress loses their current care system and participates in the same health care system (Medicare) as the American people. 6. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people (i.e. NO MORE INSIDER TRADING!!!). 7. All contracts with past and present Congressmen/women are void. The American people did not make this contract with Congressmen/women. Congress made all these contracts by and for themselves. Serving in Congress is an honor and privilege, NOT a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators should serve their term(s), then go home and go back to work … not get all kinds of freebies. Term limits of 2 terms and treat them like a regular citizen! I AGREE SO IM SHARING! Note: This should be done immediately!!!
