@DrRaceChaser @iBeButlerr Have the commercials in split screen, while the racing is still shown on a smaller portion of the screen.

Taking away stage cautions does take away some racing from the fans because now you’re getting those commercials during green flag laps rather than caution laps. Wouldn’t hurt the fans at the track, but those watching on TV lose green flag laps and we already know how much the TV audience loves to complain about commercials.

NASCAR already said they're not doing away with stage racing, so the only compromise to this would be to keep the race green after a stage ends. There's no reason to throw a yellow after a stage ends, and TV can still run their dumb little commercial breaks after them, but there's no reason to take race time away from the drivers and fans with stage cautions.

@iBeButlerr SO MUCH THUS! Keep the stages to award drivers at milestones, but don't throw the yellow so proper pit strategies emerge from an uninterrupted flow!

I really hope @iRacing fixes this bug soon. It's been around for way too long now. Coming to the white flag and the entire field is wrecked by an issue that is 100% on iRacing. Such a huge bummer. I expect better for something we all pay so much money for.

@marcusash @windowsinsider Some of us post real bugs, to the Feedback Hub, that go no-where. We passionately want fixes. So how can we escalate a bug towards getting a fix? We're willing to work with a dev to repro it so they understand. But there are no options to escalate at all, much less to that level.

@KadenRichards17 @iRacingSupport The weeks switch over at Tuesday 0:00 GMT, every single time. Since the US is in Daylight Savings Time, the US Eastern timezone is currently -4 hours from GMT (instead of the normal -5 from GMT). So, that means the new week starts at 8p ET Monday night, which is Tuesday 0:00 GMT.

@iBeButlerr Was it tech that caused that? I'm not familiar, but was wondering if setup might have been a culprit.

These cars just have way too much tech in to them. Simply driving over a rumble strip shouldn't be enough to send you crashing out of a race before it even starts.

Well, this has been a quiet day for me because I have been violently ill. I'm feeling much better now. I'm not sure if I'm going to post or not. I have to go to DC in the morning.

@iBeButlerr Yeah. I love stage points - a driver who has dominated the day but has an engine failure with 2 to go, still gets rewarded. But the stage cautions (theoretically for tv ad purposes), destroy pit strategy and green flag stops. Hopefully they'll come to their senses!

@Jacob_W_Klein Would definitely be better than having two guaranteed cautions every race.

STAGE RACING IS STUPID

@Basic_Ollie How is it both legal to have a smurf account, and illegal enough to get a DQ for using it? Where does iRacing currently draw the line? And, equally important, where SHOULD the line be drawn? I'd like to know what you would change, if you could write the rules.

Smurfs in special on iRacing is getting completely out of hand…. I was in split 5 (5k sof so a good split) and we had a former team redline driver Smurfing on a 4.6k account. Whilst Smurf account aren’t against rules, using one in a special event is the lowest of the low. I’ve had so many messages from people in different splits suffering from the same thing. I want people to know you can report them for unsportsmanlike conduct and get them a DQ from the result but that’s that. Someone in our split finished p2 and deserve to cross the finish line as winners, not get beaten by a former team redline driver. If you have had a Smurf in your split, please make sure you report it. We need to take a stand, it’s not good enough.
