I see many posts talking about how 'resource intensive' wind and solar are.
Check my math, but the world extracts, processes, transports, and burns 100 million barrels of oil a day, about 14 million metric tons worth.
My best estimate of the weight of all the wind turbine blades installed ON EARTH today (caveat, used Claude to help estimate, check my math) is 20 million metric tons. So, 1.5 days worth of global oil consumption. AND THEY LAST FOR 20+ YEARS.
Don't let people scare you with big numbers. There is nothing on earth more resource intensive than the oil and gas indsutry. It's just that when we burn oil and gas, the waste ends up mostly in the atmosphere (and your lungs), not in a landfill.
As if that is somehow better?

Yeah. Over the last decade, if I had dollar for every time some smug motherfucker said I was overreacting to this asshole and his sycophants or that I “talked too much about politics because nothing was going to happen”, I’d have Bezos money.
I used to host a show called IMPOLITE TRUTHS and just about everything I predicted that they were going to do if they came into power again, they have done. And if you think we’re getting legitimate midterms or that he’s trying to get this bunker made just for security reasons, you’re crazy.
They’re going to find a way to delegitimize enough election results to keep the GOP in power. ESPECIALLY now that they have a Supreme Court willing to enable their worst instincts. And that bunker is being built so he can hide out there and never cede power in 2028.
Or in the absolute worst case scenario: he starts WWIII to remain in power and he and his demonic sycophants can hide out there and ride out a nuclear winter.
We’re headed for a global apocalypse because the Jesus freaks who are running this fool WANT to bring about the Book of Revelations. That should spur everybody in this country into action to stop this from happening thru every legal avenue still available to us.

You’re basically admitting that the little to no plot, lack of character development and faster pacing was INTENTIONAL meaning they did NOT learn from their mistakes last time and they didn’t even tried to put actual effort in the storytelling and I’m sorry but this makes The Super Mario Galaxy Movie (2026) more worse. They just admitted that they didn’t even cared about the plot or character development or a REAL movie and instead just made a YouTube Shorts type movie just for the kids, don’t even use the bullshit “it’s a kids movie” excuse because there have been “kids movies” that cared about its audiences like The LEGO Movie (2014), I’m really worried about the future of Nintendo adaptations because Galaxy was a huge mess from its production to the finish product.
