@jenbrea Why never any mention of multiple chemical sensitivity aka TILT (Toxicant-Induced-Lack of Tolerance) aka environmental illness? I got MCS after acute CO poisoning 20 yrs ago; long-term it affects the heart & brain, i.e., neurological damage but it's ignored in this discussion.

Not-so-good morning, fellow parents. In the dead of night, Wisconsin Republicans gutted Child Care Counts, voting to erase $340 million for the program from the governor’s budget proposal.

@vondashepard @JacksonBrowne I have great memories of both you and Valerie as backup singers for Jackson Browne as I've been going to his shows since the 70s. Just saw him in Madison, WI last night. Great, energetic performance by all.

Terribly sad to hear #TreatWilliams died today , on the road. Treat was about the nicest , most likeable guy you could imagine. How awful this is .

This one hurts. Fell in love w/Treat Williams as Berger in "Hair" (1979). His portrayal of an NYC narcotics detective in "Prince of the City" (1981) was Oscar-worthy. & he was the perfect, imperfect dad in "Everwood." (2002-2006). My thoughts r w/his family. RIP #treatwilliams

@AoDespair One of my favorite actors. His performance in "Prince of the City" has stayed with me all these years. He deserved an Oscar nomination. His death is one that hurts.

After years of cop reporting, Prince Of The City was the only film that made me believe anyone else knew the truth about the drug war. So honored when Treat Williams signed on to deliver our own, later critique of the disaster. RIP to a legendary actor and a fine, gracious man.

Industrial civilization has locked in enough warming that will destroy the habitats of many species, not just humans. Current levels will see an increase of 4C in the lifetime of children born today. Urgent action is required to prevent this devastating future trajectory.
