@IndianRegista Jokic criticism is fair game, there's no way he gets a pass for how he's played. He obv hasnt been the same since the injury, I keep saying that, but it doesn't matter. His foul baiting, his TOs, his demeanor, his play on the court has been awful. Still love him tho.

Maybe one day the NBA will stop counting these as assists. But every clip in this video is an ‘assist’ and Jokic isn’t the only one that benefits from the way it is counted

I'm just saying the NBA does indeed agree that self created offense off handoffs are assist. The only criteria is that the person scoring looks like they're eventually going to score as a first action. Isos are just matchups

@Mateo20032020 @knmxw5jj2y @FeelLikeDrew It doesn't need to be a ball in the hoop immediately. They just need to have a scoring instinctive reaction. Which to its rule critique is absurdly vague. But yes isolation hand offs are counted as assist as long as the scorer looks to be scoring even off created offense
