@EmpiresPod @UpdatingOnRome I always thought a cool alternative would open with remnants of an Imperial Fleet fleeing with their families from merciless republic ships, bent on revenge. Maybe add some moral ambiguity to it, I dunno.

@Jael_Emeka more a theatrical approach: defining character’s super-objective, the means they use, and their distinctive traits. Also given circumstances - almost every character’s life starts with a defining scene. The role then evolves through RP. And drawing helps with visual symbols

@YKshelter @Knightly_Hist Live Alex Ross. Shame you didn't get a crossbow though, you should have committed to the bit. Also, when you are doing OCs, how much thought do you put into their lore and background? Or do you just have a very basic premise in mind?
