While our love for Destiny 2 has not changed, it has become clear that after The Final Shape, we have reached the time for our shared worlds, and Destiny, to live beyond Destiny 2. As our focus turns towards a new beginning for Bungie, we will begin work incubating our next games. To that end, on June 9, 2026, we will release the final live-service content update for Destiny 2 to begin that new journey as a studio. Though active development may be concluding, we will ensure that Destiny 2 remains playable, just as the original Destiny is today. Many changes in this final update will aim to ensure that Destiny 2 is a welcoming place for players to return to. We’re proud of Destiny 2, the places it took us, and the legacy it has created. Because of you all, our universe is vast, built on years of shared stories, adventures, and victories. @DestinyTheGame Shadebinder Warlock Super. It sounds awesome but we really need an update to both Darkness classes to bring them in line with the light classes.

@Destiny2Team For those who don't know or haven't heard, there's a bug with him where you'd get enough armor to fill and wipe your post master. Quit saying its the wrong move or that it wasn't necessary. Some people use the postmaster for storage.

Due to an issue, the option to purchase from Eliksni junk vendors at Tharsis Outpost has been increased to 7777777 credits until a fix can be deployed.

Bungie, you don't have long to fix this because we all know what happens when a studio fails Sony. Just ask Firewalk, Naughty Dog and Guerrilla Games.

Most of the company claims to love Destiny and play it often, but it really feels like they don't. Every decision lately feels driven by someone who has no love for the game.

I'm calling out @Sony and @Bungie. Both of you are completely neglecting the Destiny 2 community. Other than Pete Parsons getting his payout and jumping ship, we haven't heard a god damned thing from the new Studio head, not CEO, of Bungie.

@refraynn_ @Jager_Leitwolfe @Destiny2Team Ill repeat that i dont need someone from the studio telling me anything. I need in game content. No live stream just reasons to log in and play that are fun. Not a chore or the greatest challenge of my life which is the only content we are getting.

UPDATE: We have resolved an issue introduced yesterday where the Combatant Power Delta for matchmade Portal activities was unintentionally increased. These activity difficulties have been brought back to where they were prior to Update 9.1.5. @CalicoFlo @Destiny2Team You want content? So do I. I wanna know what their plan is so we can hold them accountable for it. If we don't know their plan, how can we make sure they are delivering? This cannot turn into an ineffable plan to were they go silent. That'll kill the franchise.
