On Saturday late afternoon I decided to stare at the Sun. At first it was just a white out, I couldn’t see it. I persevered and the whiteout disappeared (my eyes adjusted) and I could clearly see it. Around the edge of the Sun was a moving ring of light, it was swapping directions going clockwise / anticlockwise and was a different colour (many). It seemed like this crystalline light was being generated It was extraordinary to see. I assumed this was caused by atmospheric conditions. It was beautiful, and this was the first time that I Sun gazed etc.
