A 7-Year Relationship Ended Over Just ₹1700 💔
Yesterday evening, my boyfriend called me and said, “Let’s go out for dinner. My treat.”
In a 7-year relationship, things like this weren’t unusual, so I happily agreed. We went to a restaurant, talked, ate together, and spent some quality time.
When the bill arrived, it came to ₹1700.
Then he looked at me and said, “You pay for it.”
At first, I thought he was joking, but he was completely serious. I asked, “Why should I pay?”
That was enough to change everything.
Without any explanation, without any argument, he got up and walked away.
I waited for a while, thinking he might come back, but he never did.
In the end, I paid the ₹1700 bill myself and returned home alone.
When I tried to call him after reaching home, I discovered that he had already blocked me.
For seven years, I gave that relationship my time, trust, love, and respect. Yet it didn’t end because of a major fight, betrayal, or misunderstanding.
It ended over a ₹1700 restaurant bill.
Today, I realize that maybe the relationship didn’t break because of money. Maybe it broke because even after seven years, he never truly saw me as his partner—just as an option.
Sometimes relationships don’t fall apart over the years.
They break in a single moment.
And some endings are so cheap that the lessons they leave behind become the most expensive of all. 💔

🧵 A customer can be defrauded in under 30 minutes. Here’s how.
I ordered earphones from @Myntra / M-Now.
Order ID: #133470795188627120401
At 8:27 PM, the package was delivered.
Within seconds, I started recording an unboxing video.
What did I find?
❌ Outer package intact.
❌ Product box already opened.
❌ Earphones missing.
I immediately reported the issue and shared the timestamped unboxing video proving I opened the package right after delivery.
Instead of investigating the evidence, Myntra simply closed my complaint saying “the product was delivered.”
The issue is NOT whether a package was delivered.
The issue is that the purchased item was missing inside the package.
Even more shocking, the Help Centre falsely showed that a fresh replacement product had been delivered, when I never received any replacement whatsoever.
Despite providing:
✅ Timestamped delivery proof
✅ Timestamped unboxing video
✅ Photographic evidence
…my complaint has been repeatedly closed without a proper investigation.
I’ve now escalated the matter to the Department of Consumer Affairs.

If this can happen despite clear video evidence, it can happen to anyone.
I request @jagograhakjago, @DoCA_GoI, @Myntra, @MyntraSupport, and consumer authorities to ensure this matter is investigated fairly and my money is refunded.
Consumers deserve better.

UPDATE: @Myntra has officially rejected my refund.
Their response:
• “Product went through mandatory quality check.”
• “Product was sealed in tamper-proof packaging.”
• “No instance of package tampering was reported.”
Here’s what’s wrong with that response. 🧵👇
❌ I NEVER claimed the outer Myntra package was tampered with.
I clearly reported that the product box inside was already opened and the earphones were missing.
There’s a huge difference.
I have a timestamped unboxing video that starts within seconds of delivery (08:27 PM), proving the exact condition in which I received the package.
So my questions to @Myntra are:
1️⃣ If the product passed a “mandatory quality check,” how did an opened product box with the earphones missing leave your warehouse?
2️⃣ If you investigated the case, did you even watch the unboxing video before rejecting my complaint?
3️⃣ Why was my complaint closed with generic statements instead of addressing the actual evidence?
This isn’t just about ₹₹₹.
It’s about whether customers can trust that clear video evidence will even be considered.
I’m requesting @Myntra, @MyntraSupport, @jagograhakjago and @DoCA_GoI to conduct a genuine investigation instead of sending template responses.

A man had booked an AC coach ticket almost two months in advance.
When he finally boarded the train and went to his seat, he was shocked to find a woman already sitting there.
"Sorry, this is my seat," he said politely while showing his confirmed ticket.
But the woman refused to move and insisted that the seat belonged to her.
The passenger tried repeatedly to find the TT, but no one came. With no help available, he was forced to spend a large part of the journey sitting near the train door.
After a long wait, the TT finally arrived.
Instead of resolving the issue, he told the passenger, "We can't remove this woman. Just adjust somehow and complete your journey."
At that moment, the passenger realized what might have happened — his seat appeared to have been unofficially sold to someone else.
When he started recording a video of the incident, the TT reportedly became even more arrogant.
"Complain wherever you want," he said. "Even if the RPF comes, they won't remove her. If they can't, what can you do?"
With those words, the TT walked away.
Despite holding a confirmed AC ticket booked months in advance, the passenger allegedly spent the rest of the journey sitting near the restroom, while someone else occupied the seat he had legally paid for.
