“A Jain” fighting for a Hindu temple and a “Sikh” touching his feet to thank him — that’s the Hindustan our ancestors built. 🇮🇳🙏 Not divided by labels, but united by respect, faith and civilization. Then came the so-called “Babur ke vanshaj” mindset — people who see harmony as a threat and division as politics.

Deval Mosque & Rashtrakuta Inscriptions -Lasting Heritage of Bodhan Deval Masjid, situated in the historic Bodhan region of Nizamabad is a converted religious structure built by Mohammad Bin Tughlaq (1325-1351 AD) during his conquest of the Deccan region. This is originally a Jain temple, built by the Rastrakuta rulers. The structure was later renovated during the period of Kalyani Chalukyas. It is also a sacred place for Digambara Jain sect. It is also associated with the great poet Pampa who wrote Adipurana in Kannada. Originally, this was a Jain temple that was built during the period of Rastrakuta ruler Indra III in 10th Century A.D. and it was renovated during the period of Kalyani Chalukya ruler Someswara who had then named it as Indranarayana swamy temple. #Jainism #history

Unbelievable from MP: What is clearly a Hindu temple, and what should have simply been given to Hindus, now turns into a Masjid on Fridays! And the irony is that the judiciary gives permission for the same. I am talking about Bhojshala: this Friday, on Basant Panchami, the campus will serve as both a temple of Maa Vagdevi and a masjid for Muslims, as per the court order. I had been there last year, the Muslims call our havan kund their wuzu khana; where we offer aahuti, they will spit water. We take our slippers outside, they walk with them inside our temple, walk over inscriptions, and more. Sharing an excerpt from my report:

#WATCH | Indore, Madhya Pradesh: On the Bhojshala case, Advocate Priya Jain, representative of the Salakchand Jain, says, "... It's true that the High Court has also considered it a Hindu temple... When the British took the idol from here to London, they themselves accepted that there is a Jain idol in the museum, which is still mentioned on the stone inscription... The inscription clearly shows that there is a idol of a Jain Tirthankara... We have also presented evidence, which is the ASI report and all the evidence given by the Archaeology Department, that it is a idol of Jain Saraswati and Jain Vagdevi... Our fight right now is with the law; our fight is not with any Hindu or Muslim; our fight is with the law... Now we will challenge this in the Supreme Court... We want our rights to that very place, so we will challenge that..."
