@stevesi I loved my Surface RT and I’m still mad about the death of Windows Phone. But you also couldn’t pry me away from my M-series MBA or iOS once I made the switch. I feel for you though!

@emollick How glad am I that I have 7+ years of professional notes in a folder of Markdown (Obsidian now, but plenty of other apps before that)? There are no words to express my feelings of joy, relief and yes, some vindication.

Worth thinking about how to describe what your organization does, in detail, in a series of plain English markdown files.

@stroughtonsmith I've got a 2018 iPad Pro and while I'm quite impressed with the fluidity and (apparent) stability in last week's beta...the *experience* of using Stage Manager is just not good compared to the Old Ways. Which I will be sticking with, thank you very much!

@stevesi Futzing really is a problem isn't it? I prefer Windows 11's window control.

@agiletortoise This seems like one of those not-flashy-but-hugely-important updates, especially for an app like Drafts, which is kinda based entirely on…text. :-)

@ismh Nah, it’s huge for all those people you connected with via Zoom during the pandemic, swore you’d do it again, but then nobody actually buys Zoom or remembers to use it. Much easier to do with Facetime now! Good move, even after the pandemic!

The focus on outline editing is a real game changer for first-time users, as well as experienced "Pro" users. I can honestly say that I can recommend @OmniFocus to Windows folks have an iPad as a fully self contained experience for everyday working.

@Readdle Has PDF Expert 3 become more widely available? How do I get added to the testing group?? (Or when is it launching?)

@etarud We’ve made PDF Expert 3 available to a limited number of users ahead of launch. Whilst the new product will be subscription-based, please be assured that all the features you had access to in the previous version will remain free for you, forever.

@Readdle when did you launch PDF Expert 3.0 on the Mac and changed it to subscription?

@agiletortoise Would it be worth adding in a short FAQ directly to the app to address this system-level issues?

@macguru17 @agiletortoise When you export a sheet using Markdown, I thought there was a way to export the annotations and comments, but perhaps I’m thinking of a PDF/docx-only export feature. It would be useful if I could export the Markdown XL features to plaintext…(and hey Max!)

@agiletortoise The default is similar to markdown but not quite. We originally intended to call it Souldown (from Soulmen, former company name) but the figured everybody would call it/compare it to Markdown anyway, hence that name.
